Lil Mia started rapping when she was 13.
She started because she was influenced by young boys in her school who used to
spit bars together at break and she joined in for fun. A few of them said she had a good flow and to
take it seriously so she did.
She listens to a lot of rap but was really influenced by Mecca 2 Medina who are
the first Islamic rap group.
Lil Mia loves conscious hip hop because she believes it gives a positive message
to the youth.
Lil Mia wants to make music that young people can listen to and relate to.
She hopes that young girls can listen to her lyrics and take on board her message of
respecting themselves and staying positive.
Lil Mia is also a talented artist and actress. She had an extra part in the youth film
adulthood. Lil Mia was signed by an independent record label Crescent Moon Music in 2008.
I think we will be seeing big things from this young North Weezy Artist.
