Truthful Movement are a young rap act who initially came together to express their grievances about
the wrong-doings around them in a private and non-aggressive manner. However, as other individuals
listened to these boys, it slowly became clear that their talent was not something to be hidden, but
to be shared on a bigger platform Insha’Allah.
Truthful Movement is comprised of two brothers; Truth (better known as Masrur) and Emperor
(better known as Kaiser). They are both of Bangladeshi descent, although both were born and raised
in England and their rap work has been greatly influenced by their surroundings in the heart of East
London. Their message is simple: ‘giving an insight from the eyes of a youth’. There are very few
Muslim artists of this age group, and trying to educate the youth making them aware of situations
is difficult, therefore, they use music as a form of communication that is targeted at this genre.
Masrur and Kaiser both wish to give the youth of today something that they can relate to,
especially in this day and age.
